English: This beautifully crisp icy scene was captured by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on ESA’s Mars Express on 19 May 2022 during orbit 23219. The ground resolution is approximately 18 m/pixel and the image is centred at about 185°E/76°S. It was created using data from the nadir channel, the field of view aligned perpendicular to the surface of Mars, and the colour channels of the HRSC. North is to the right. Read more |
