Summary

[edit]

I believe this to be the best desktop stapler ever made. I bought it in the early 1960's for my radio station desk and it survived a fire in 1965. I have used it daily ever since and it has never failed me. You can load lots of staples into it, it rarely if ever jams, and it can be opened up and used to staple items to a bulletin board or other panel. Unfortunately the Swingline company has apparently abandoned this design and quality workmanship in the process of moving their production from Long Island, N.Y. to Mexico.
