Summary
[edit]DescriptionSwindon Sunday express geograph-2905811-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg |
English: Sunday Paddington - Plymouth via Bristol express arriving at Swindon. View eastward, towards Reading and London on the ex-GWR main line. Unlike on weekdays, the late afternoon Paddington - Plymouth service ran via Bristol, rather than Westbury and was much slower. This is the 16.30 from Paddington to Plymouth (due 23.50) and Paignton (due 23.20), headed by Collett 4-6-0 No. 6022 'King Edward III' (built 6/30, withdrawn 9/62). |
