Title: Sweden and Norway Agreeable to Modern History by Herman Moll Geographer

Notes: Inset map of Greenlandas known to the English, labelled To avoid too great a Contraction of the Scale, the North Part of Norway &c. is continued here.

The greatest Length of Sweden from Sconen on the South to ye most Northern Part of Lapland is about 810 miles, & from the frontiers of Bahus on ye West, to ye Farthest side of Sweedish Finland on ye E. about 840 miles in Breadth. Its Area including Pomerania & ye I. of Rugen is almost twice as large as France. The Provinces of Ingria, Livonia, Bre : men, & Verden, & part of Finland, which were lost in ye Reign of Charles the 12th. contain about 78369 Square miles, which is above 10 times more in quantity than the 7 United Provinces. And almost as large as Great Britain, & 2.783 Square miles more than all Italy.

Stockholm a large populous and trading City, Situated in a safe Port in the Baltick Sea, is ye Capital of Sweden Long: 17d. 40m. Lat: 59d. 30m. 810 miles East from London 770 W. of Moscow 670 N.E. of of Amsterdam 690 N. of Vienna
