Summary
[edit]DescriptionSwan family May 2014 107831016.jpg |
English: The swan family here. The swans at Carolasee have no real natural food source there and means that it is never a biotope. It is a landscape. They need water plants inside the water, but due the boats, the plants are being destroyed with paddles, if they would have grown. The waterside has masses on rocks and a mat which blocks the roots from the ground. In Winter the water fowl can not eat roots from the waterside therefore as a hard circumstance. The swans are in the pond Carolasee, since 1882. They decided that swans getting food by the park clerks and visitors, if they would have still hunger, due the inherent imperfection of planting water-plants. A swan needs at least up to 1,5kg - 0,25kg water plants a day. Nevertheless the ponds in the park are registered as breeding marshland for waterfowl. From time to time, comes an animal abuser and creates traps for swans even during the breeding time. Waste thrown by anti socials into the ponds is one of the biggest problems and that it is not protected as natural place. Extreme are these circumstances during Sylvester. |
