| Description |
English: Swan's way - Bridleway near Ilmer. This is on the Swan's Way, part of the Midshires Way which links bridleways and footpaths from Princes Risborough to Stockport. "Overgrown" or "A haven for wildlife" depending on your view - the profusion of plants and butterflies were a pleasure, the going was rough on a bicycle and the nettles and thistles didn't make for a pain-free ride. See http://www.ramblers.org.uk/info/paths/midshires.html for details of the long distance path connections. |
