日本語: 京都市左京区芹生谷（花脊峠から京北芹生町へと至る小渓谷）の北山杉営林地の中を流れる沢（大沢谷）。沢がもたらす湿度で杉の根元はシダ類が自生し、その養分を杉が吸い上げる独自の営林手法。
