nthe room is a cupboard with a very fine old Gothicdoorway. The principal rooms on the first floor areceiled at a pitch of about 10 or 11-ft., on a level withthe tie beams, but on an inspection of the roof a secondceiling is disclosed level with the collars, and running upto the collars on the rafters. As far as the wood is concernedit was planted by one of the Kings in the last century, but probably that is the site of the old glass house byreason of the similarity of the names.
