English: Surrey County Ploughing Match 2009 (11) The Surrey County Ploughing Match & Country Fare, at Loseley Park, Compton, near Guildford, took place in near perfect autumn conditions. Not as hot as the previous year; still conditions, and hardly a cloud in the sky.
Some of the Ploughing Match rules: (7b) Ploughing to commence at 10.30am and finish at 1.30pm (Split openings at 10.00am). (7d) Width of furrow not to exceed 9 inches. (7f) Competitors not finishing their plots in the allowed time shall not be eligible for ploughing prizes.
