Description
English: Supported lipid bilayer formation on surface covered with nanoparticles of different sizes. Transmembrane pores (or holes) are formed around particles of approximately 1 to 20 nm diameter. Shown 3D figures are the adapted representation of the series of tapping mode atomic force microscopy images recorded under liquid buffer medium. At giving attribution, the following reference should be cited: Y. Roiter, M. Ornatska, A. R. Rammohan, J. Balakrishnan, D. R. Heine, and S.
