Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Moon is seen as is rises, Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017 in Washington. Some people call this a supermoon. A supermoon occurs when the moon’s orbit is closest (perigee) to Earth at the same time it is full, but the apparent size of Moon is not caused by proximity, rather a moon illusion, due to closeness of Moon to the horizon.
