Suluan Island was the first victim of Super Typhoon Yolanda that had a tremendous impact. As Filipinos who are resilient, they satisfy themselves with the endings that can be beautiful, like sunsets.

Description
English: Suluan Island, located in Guiuan, Eastern Samar, Philippines, was one of the first Philippine islands to be liberated from Colonial rule. Aside from it's environment Guiuan is also famous for two historical occurrences that occurred 423 years apart. Ferdinand Magellan, the first European to set foot on Philippine soil, arrived in Homonhon, now part of Guiuan, in 1521.
