Description In 2002, the iconic antennas at the top of the Hancock Building were being delicately replaced, Northwestern had a residence building on Chicago Avenue (red brick building in the center of the photo), the hospital at the corner of Fairbanks and Chicago hadn't been built yet, and the Lakeside VA Hospital still stood in Streeterville. In 2009, the antennas have changed, the residence building has been removed to make way for Children's Memorial, the new Prentice Women's Hospital stands at the corner of Fairbanks and Chicago, Loyola built a new building on Rush Street that fills the gap between the Park Hyatt and 900 North Michigan, and the VA hospital is no more.
