Description

Odell Lake is one of the blue giants of the Deschutes National Forest. This large lake is 3562 acres, 6 miles long and 1 1/2 miles wide, and reaches a depth of 282 ft. The lake fills a basin carved by a glacier, and the resulting terminal moraine confines the water along the lake's southeast shore. Odell Lake Lodge, is a historic building and was constructed in 1903.

We have stayed a couple of times at the lodge. The restaurant is very nice, the rooms are cozy and the beds surprisingly comfortable. There is a nice dock and boat rentals. This lake is famous for its fishing.

Reasons why Public Domain Mark (PDM) is not acceptable
Unlike CC0 or the other Creative Commons licenses, the Public Domain Mark is not a legal instrument; there is no accompanying legal code or agreement. Instead, the Public Domain Mark is a tool that allows anyone to mark a work that they believe to be free of known copyright restrictions.
