Description
Español: Vista de situación del reloj vertical de sol en la fachada meridional de la Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Informática de la Universidad de Málaga, en el número 35 del bulevar Louis Pasteur, Campus de Teatinos, Málaga, España. El conjunto mide aproximadamente 2 x 3 m y está situado a una altura de 15 m de altura. El reloj fue diseñado por José Luis Díaz y lleva la inscripción del año de su construcción: «Año 2001». Muestra hipérbolas calendáricas para diez de los doce arquetipos zodiacales y una bolita en el gnomón para indicar la situación calendárica. El reloj declina a poniente unos 9 grados, incorpora la corrección de la longitud del lugar y corrige en una hora la diferencia con la hora oficial, de tal forma que en invierno solo hay que corregir la ecuación del tiempo. Los numerales son caracteres romanos realizados en PVC negro. El gnomón y las líneas horarias y calendáricas son de acero inoxidable.[1] [2]
