Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sundew. Sundew (Drosera). This is one of several species of bog plant that has sticky globules on its leaves in order to trap insects. It is hard to extract nutrients from acid soils like the waterlogged peat in bogs, a tactic for overcoming the nitrogen shortage is to utilise the protein flying about in the air, ie insects. The plant is just flowering.
