English: The sun rises over a 1st Airlift Squadron C-32A at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., March 13, 2015. The 89th Airlift Wing flies a variety of aircraft and in addition to the Boeing C-32A, the 1st AS flies Boeing C-40Bs, the 99th Airlift Squadron flies Gulfstream C-20B, C-37A and C-37Bs, and the Presidential Airlift Group flies Boeing VC-25s. Together the units, in conjunction with the remainder of the 89th Operations Group, 89th Maintenance Group, 89th Airlift Support Group and 89th AW staff align efforts to enable national interests through global transportation for America’s senior leaders, ensuring safe, comfortable, reliable, connected and protected airlift.
