SUN LINK STREETCAR #101

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The next phase in preparedness will be a tow-test along the 3.9 mile route to make sure everything functions as planned. The streetcar is operated by four 90 kw electric motors from a 750 volt DC overhead line. With the exception of upgraded air conditioning for the desert climate, the 156 passenger streetcars are the same as ones currently being used in Portland. The articulated streetcar is 66 feet long, and 11.9 feet high.
