Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Summit of Cut Gate bridleway. Mountain biker heading SW to descend into the Derwent valley in Derbyshire. Cut Gate is an ancient route between Derbyshire and Yorkshire and now a classic route for mountain bikers as no longer do Derbyshire shepherds use it to take their flocks to market in Penistone. Part of the route (the steep climb out of the Derwent valley) is particularly difficult to ride, otherwise the route is rideable - if a bit technical in parts. The easiest section is probably this short stretch across the summit. Keywords: 07 Cut Gate
