Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Summit of Ben More. All I could do as I was in a thick cloud at the time. The trig pillar will soon fall as the weak concrete holding it to the summit rock is eroding fast. The summit of what is a grassy conical hill, is actually quite rocky, mica schist that is very slippery when wet. At 1174m this is the 12th highest hill in Great Britain. (ref:http://bubl.ac.uk/org/tacit/marilyns/). County top devotees will note that this is the highest point in the area administered by Stirling Council.
