English: Summit Lurg Mhor View looking westward from the summit of Lurg Mhor, 3,234 feet. The name means long shank. Doubtless the name referring to its long ridge both to the east and west. This is a very remote hill in a superb area, far from roads or habitations and requiring camping or perhaps an overnight stay at the Mountain Bothies Association bothy at Bearnais. |
