Description
English: Summerhouse, Stratfield Saye This is in a lightly wooded area know as the Pleasure Grounds. It was built in 1846 to commemorate a visit from Queen Victoria in the previous year. Its decorative 'twigwork' incorporates a ducal coronet and royal cipher on the interior walls. Beyond is open parkland with cattle grazing.
