Delaware Water Gap from New Jersey Shore. distant hills and mountain, through which the river winds its tortuouscourse and glides smoothly along the base of the precipice from whichyou are gazing. Near Prospect Rock is WATER GAP. The Hunters Spring—A wild, secluded spot where many a Lenapehuntsman, as well as those of modern times, have been refreshed, andhave lain in wait for the deer as they came panting for the coolingwaters. It is at the head of a wild ravine and the source of EurekaCreek, which tumbles over the rocky bed in its rapid descent to theriver, and in which are found Moss-Cataract and Rebeccas Bath. Nearby is DELAWARE. LACKAWANNA & WESTERN R. R.
