Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Synopsis of the four main synthetic routes to the chemical warfare agent sulfur mustard (HD).
  1. The “Lommel-Steinkopf process”, based on the Meyer-Clarke method, used in Germany in World War One.
  2. Newer approach applying contemporary thiodiglycol synthesis and controlled nucleophilic chlorination.
  3. Optimised “Levinstein process”.
  4. Radical addition of sulfane on vinyl chloride under UV irradiation.
Deutsch: Die vier “klassischen” S-LOST-Synthesewege.
  1. Der “Lommel-Steinkopf-Prozess”, ausgehend aus der Meyer-Clarkschen Methode, optimalisiert für die Produktion während des Ersten Weltkriegs.
  2. Derzeitige Thiodiglycolsynthese (Merck Index, 13th Ed.), weitergeführt zu S-LOST.
  3. Optimalisierte “Levinsteinsche Methode”, electrophile Addition des Schwefeldichlorids an Ethen.
  4. Radikalische Addition des Monosulfan an Vinylchlorid unter UV-Bestrahlung.
Slovenčina: Štyri základné metódy syntézy bojovej chemickej látky sírny yperit (HD).
  1. “Lommel-Steinkopfova metóda”, vyvinutá a používaná v Nemecku počas 1. svetovej vojny.
  2. Súčasná metóda syntézy tiodiglykolu, zdivertovaná na syntézu sírneho yperitu.
  3. Optimalizovaná “Levinsteinova metóda”, elektrofilná adícia chloridu sírnatého na etén.
  4. Radikálová adícia sulfánu na vinylchlorid.
