Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The gateway in the churchyard of St Gregory's Church, Sudbury, which was originally the entrance to Sudbury College, a religious community founded by Archbishop Simon Sudbury in 1374. The college was dissolved in 1538 and the buildings were later used as the parish workhouse until demolished in 1836. The gateway is the only remnant of the college and is a Grade II Listed Building.
