Description
Français : Depuis 2009, Rosheim organise un élégant carnaval vénitien. Mais d'abord, d'où ça vient ? Evidemment de Venise en premier abord, depuis le Xe siècle un carnaval y était fêté en début d'année un peu avant le carême comme ailleurs. Mais à partir du XIIIe siècle un élément le distingua des autres et encore aujourd'hui : l'apparition des masques. Au XVIIe, ce modèle de carnaval, où l'anonymat permet d'abolir les contraintes sociales habituelles, se repend dans l'Europe entière jusqu'à presque disparaître au XIXe, XXe. Ce n'est que dans le tournant des années 70-80 que les vénitiens ont souhaité relancer la machine en redonnant lettre de noblesse à cette coutume masquée. L'engouement mondiale a créé des petits carnavals rendant hommage à l'original et permettant de continuer le rêve.
