English: Drawing titled Subhas Chandra Bose leading the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army) by famous Jabalpur-born artist Beohar Rammanohar Sinha from Santiniketan. Mentored by the revivalist modernist Indian maestro Nandalal Bose, Rammanohar illuminated the original calligraphic manuscript of Constitution of India (an illustration pictured here), played an important role in India’s cultural diplomacy with the Far East, painted a multitude of murals in Fresco-secco (an illustration pictured here) and exhibited his paintings worldwide. |
