Description

Stuttgart is definitely an industrial city, between Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. However, unusually for an industrial powerhouse,it is surprisingly pleasant, with rolling hills and beautiful cityscape.

Many of the surrounding hills are home to excellent wineries.

And for me, seeing hills is a new experience in Europe. All my previous European destinations had been fairly flat places, such as England or the Netherlands.

I found Stuttgart to be so charming that I considered it to be the most livable city among my destinations in this trip. If I were to move to Germany, Stuttgart would indeed be my pick for a hometown.
