Summary
[edit]DescriptionSturt tree1.jpg |
English: The marked tree at Fort Grey, Sturt National Park, New South Wales. This tree was marked by Charles Sturt in 1845 while camped at a nearby waterhole. The tree died in a flood in 1956. Conservation work was done in 1990 to try to keep the tree upright. The mark can be seen at the base of the tree, but can no longer be read. |
