Description
Deutsch: Brückenstumpf der ehemaligen Teltow-Werft-Brücke mit Gleisen der Treidelbahn. Die Brücke führte in Berlin-Zehlendorf am Kilometer 11,40 der künstlichen Wasserstraße die Treidelbahnen zur Wartung in den 1906 beim Kanalbau angelegten Bauhof über den Teltowkanal. Der Bauhof mit Bauhafen wurde später zur Teltow-Werft erweitert. Diese Brücke wurde auch von Fußgängern und Radfahrern genutzt. In den letzten Tagen des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurde sie, wie nahezu alle Kanalbrücken und die Betriebseinrichtungen der Treidelbahn, zerstört. In der Zeit der deutschen Teilung wurde wenige Meter weiter westlich der früheren Brücke eine Behelfsbrücke für den ehemaligen Kolonnenweg der Grenztruppen der DDR gebaut, die Anfang der 1990er-Jahre abgerissen wurde. Seit 2002 gibt es eine Interessenvertretung zum Wiederaufbau der Teltow-Werft-Brücke zur besseren Vernetzung des Umlandes.
English: Remains of the former Teltow-Werft-Brücke in Berlin-Zehlendorf with tracks of the tow-railway. The Teltow-Werft was a shipyard and maintenance yard for the tow-locomotives of the Teltowkanal (canal). The bridge was crossing the canal for the locomotives and was also used by pedestrians.
