Another soldier senta second missile in the same direction, and both were wellaimed. One bullet struck the young man in the thigh, andanother penetrated his arm. He fell, mortally wounded.There followed several explosions of small arms, but noother persons were seriously injured. Poisal and Yander-griff were taken to their homes. In a moment the militiafound themselves overpowered, and once more the strikershad things all in their own way. The sounds of the firingdrew larger crowds from the city, and the excitement was,if possible, still more intense.
