Description
English: U.S Army Staff Sgt. Johnny Soriano, left, evaluates Spc. Daniel P. McAuley, Delta Company, 1st-150th Assault Helicopter Battalion, during the stress shoot portion of the New Jersey Army National Guard’s Best Warrior Competition at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., April 10, 2019. During this part of the competition, the five Soldiers, one Airman, and three NCOs will evaluated on high and low crawl, sled drag, medical evaluation, 9-line medical evacuation request, M249 machine gun breakdown, and an M9 pistol and M4 carbine tactical shoot. The Competition runs from April 8-11, 2019, with the top Soldier and NCO competing in the Region 1 Competition against National Guard Troops from the six New England states and New York. The Best Warrior Competition is an annual event, which tests their military skills and knowledge, as well as their physical fitness and endurance. New Jersey National Guard photo by Mark C. Olsen
