| Description |
English: Street sign, Seacliff Road, Bangor. After 787608, a second weathered enamel street sign I found in Bangor, this time on the corner of the houses 'Sea Cliff' shown in 576803. Note that the spelling of the street name here is 'Seacliffe' as opposed to the usual 'Seacliff'. I suspect that this might be an error rather than the name changing over time. The 1901 OS map clearly shows the name as 'Seacliff Road' and I can find no other evidence that the name was ever 'Seacliffe'. |
