English: The inn "Zum wilden Mann" was located at Reichengässle 6, between Härterichstraße (northern access road) and Nonnengasse (southern access road). Public and private celebrations were regularly held in the room next door to the ‘Wild Man’, including a private First Communion celebration on 28 April 1957 (Catholic ‘White Sunday’, W-R-H). Also noteworthy is the horse-drawn cart of a Bad Mergentheim farmer passing by on the right, with a classic cart with iron-tyred wooden spoke wheels, which was still handmade by local coopers and wainwrights at the time; photo taken in September 1953.
