| Description |
English: Stourton Bottom Lock on the Stourbridge Canal The pound above the lock is totally devoid of water due to the breach of the embankment above Middle Bridge (about 2km eastwards) during the night of September 7th. Rewatering here should commence on September 22nd, but passage eastwards to Stourbridge and Birmingham will not be possible for 4-6 months - or more. The entrance on the right is to a short arm of the canal now used for mooring a few boats, well viewed on the Google Map satellite image. |
