Description
English: A storm system over North Carolina was the focus of a May 2014 flight by NASA's ER-2 during the Integrated Precipitation and Hydrology Experiment field campaign. NASA, NOAA, and Duke University partnered to conduct the six-week airborne Earth science field campaign to gain a better understanding of precipitation over the southern Appalachian mountains.
