| Description |
Damage to shipping on the Mobile Al waterfront from the 27 Sept 1906 storm ( aka as the 1906 Mississippi hurricane ) that came ashore near Pascagoula Ms as a Cat 2 storm. The storm also caused the quarantine station at Fort Morgan to be washed away when the waves cut a great channel entirely across the land from the bay to the gulf and Pilot Town at Navy Cove was destroyed.
