Store at Palomas on the Apache Indian Reservation, 1903
Photograph of the store at Palomas (Arenburg?) on the Apache Indian Reservation, 1903. A horse is tied to a hitching post in front of the store. Objects on the porch in front include: barrels, crates, bags, boxes, and rope (or metal hoops). Legible signs include: "[...] Standard Oil [...], Pearl Oil". An adjacent building, further away, has piles of shingles or tiles stacked next to it. A low log bridge, over which a dirt road passes, crosses over a shallow stream in the foreground.
