Description
English: As seen in December 2021, a house in the Stonybrook subdivision of suburban Lancaster, New York is brightly decorated for the holiday season. Every year since 2008, this nine-street tract east of Lancaster's village center has become Western New York's answer to Dyker Heights in Brooklyn, with neighbor competing against neighbor for the coveted award of best Christmas light display, and with area residents tooling through the neighborhood to check out the colorful spectacle (which includes an annual MINI Cooper Parade) and donating funds for a variety of local children's charities.
