Base sherd. Fragment of base of a Stoneware jar or bottle, with hard thick transparent glaze inside and out. Suggested date: Modern, 1800-1900. This sherd was kindly examined by Helen Fry, Sandra Firth and Hazel West of the North Lincolnshire Pottery Research Group.
