Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Stone wall This long wall forms the eastern boundary of open moor on top of this moderately high ridge. On the far side of it is an earth bank which reminded me of prehistoric dykes. Stone walls are rare in this area. This one is made solely of flat stones and looked so stable that I thought it might possibly be a few hundred years old. Local farmers here don't bother with building walls but there was once a monastery not far away.
