| Description |
English: Stone ballast at the east end of Broadsands Beach The very low tide made it possible to reach the base of the cliff at the north east end of the beach along which the Steam Railway runs. At some time, this part of the cliff has been re-inforced by the tipping of massive granite boulders to resist erosion. No doubt this was done by tipping the ballast from above. |
