English: Stone Trough on the Water Tower Spur Wall. This old stone trough almost seems out of place built into the structure of the 14th century Water Tower spur wall, but perhaps it was for the use of soldiers from a bygone age? It can be seen in situ in 563611. The Water Tower is only opened to the public three times a year, and is accessed from Bonewaldesthornes Tower on the city walls. |
