Description
English: The flagship tourist attraction of Karnataka- “Stone Chariot” of Hampi has a place in the new Rs 50 denomination banknotes by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The ‘Stone Chariot’ located inside the Vittala Temple premises in Hampi of Karnataka state is one of the heritage monuments that depict the cultural heritage of the nation. Hampi has been internationally recognised as a world heritage site by the UNESCO
