[edit]DescriptionStolen and dumped? (15699502929).jpg |
I spotted this Toyota Celica in a rather unusual place back in February. It was on a beach, about 300 metres from the nearest road, and down a rather large drop! Clearly this car was treasured by someone, given the plate, and its decent condition, plus the aftermarket alloys. I really have no respect for people who steal cars, or damage them in such a way. I'm actually almost impressed by the fact the drivers managed to drive the car this far onto the beach- as you can see, it really is boggy and very sticky sand, and the car's partially sunk into it. I ruined my shoes to get these pictures! Unsurprisingly now not appearing on databases, I can only assume it's been scrapped. I bet the recovery job took some effort! I wonder how they did it... |
