English: Cotton net stole with metallic thread pattern, cream cotton tulle shawl with hammered silver geometric pattern interweaving, in style of asyut Egyptian technique dating from 3000 BC from upper Egyptian region of same name. Popular in 1920's when Europeans taking "grand tour", made in great numbers. Also made using gold.
