Description

After a month long absence from Sulphur Mountain, we thought for sure that the free rides down all Winter offer on the Banff Gondola on Sulphur Mountain would be over by now. But nope! The little pink sign was still up on the information board at the trail head. SO happy that we were able to get in one more free ride down.

Not much people at all on the mountain today and we started earlier than usual. There was a good 10cm of new snow overnight according to the radio and we had no traction issues today. The ground was snow covered until about half way up where it we found ice underneath the snow.

This was completely unexpected since it was patio weather in Calgary yesterday and today.
