This monument located on a rocky rock near the beach Morgen is called the "Dancer of Budva ?or ?gymnast of Budva", and became the unofficial symbol of the city. It is work of the sculptor Gradimir Aleksi?, who found his inspiration in an old local legend about a girl, who came each morning to the beach, spent her days looking at the open sea, waiting for her fianc? to come back to her. The years passed by, sailors came and went, but her fianc? never returned....she is still waiting?
