English: Stile on the old path to Whernside Although providing the shortest route to Whernside summit from Ribblehead, the path from Gunnerfleet Farm is not now recommended and is not waymarked. In the lower reaches it is extremely boggy and nearer the summit is very steep with loose stones leading to treacherous walking conditions. |
