Summary

[edit]
Description

Sticta weigelii or sublimbata 20081223.13 (photo 2.428) Volcan Casablanca, Chile subalpine forest on bench above river

I need to examine my specimen to resolve the species accurately. There are three non-caulescent Sticta with coralloid isidia, only two with brown, thick tomentum below: S. sublimbata whose isidia erode and turn into something like soredia, and S. weigelii whose isidia remain corticate.
